It's funny how once I turned 21, birthdays aren't quite as big of a deal as they once were.... On my actual birthday (Oct. 5th) I had the day off to play with Gabe. We went to lunch with friends and spent the afternoon playing, as we usually do. I also got some nice phone calls, e-mails, birthday cards, texts, and facebook lovin' from family and friends :)
A couple days later we celebrated with the family... which meant that Gabe and Daddy were in charge of baking the cake!!
