Monk Monk Party

On August 7, 2o11 we celebrated Gabe's 2nd birthday at Grammy's house....

A few months ago (April to be exact) I made the mistake of stumbling upon the "Alvin and the Chipmunk" movie, in the clearance bin at Walmart. We were going to be spending some time at Grammy's house, and I thought maybe it was something that would keep him entertained....little did I know!!! Little did I know that he would become obsessed with it! He began asking to watch the Monk Monk movie multiple times a day. He began talking about the Monk Monk's constantly! He ate slept and breathed Monk Monks! So naturally, even though there is nothing out there for a Monk Monk party (without paying a small fortune) we haaaad to have a 2 year old Monk Monk bash :)

And of course, about a week before his party, he moved on to Lightning MaQeeen! (It would have been sooo much easier to have a Lightning MaQeeeen party!!! Oh well! While he no longer requests to watch the Monk Monks, he still likes to sleep with his stuff Alvin :D

My little cutie woke up from his nap and came running downstairs in his birthday suit :) Luckily it was before any guests had arrived!

Andrew, Nikki, and Aunt Liz were visiting from Florida! Andrew is his buddy and Gabe is attached to him at the hip!
