Baptism

On December 5, 2009, Gabriel Benton Hanson was baptized. The baptism took place at Grammy's house. We gathered around the family room with our family and friends as Gabe was blessed. He was such a good boy and actually dozed off in my arms during the ceremony. He did however, perk right up when water was sprinkled on his head.

The most memorable part of the day was looking out the family room windows during the baptism and seeing these beautiful, white flakes falling from the sky and creating this amazing, soft blanket of snow. This was Gabriel's first snow and I can't help but think it was God's way of reminding us that he has been and will continue to watch over our sweet little boy.

My mom reminded us that on my christening day, there also was a snow storm. The snow storm was so bad that they had my christening party but had to postpone the actual christening until a later date.

We were so busy getting Gabe ready that it wasn't until we stepped outside that we saw the beautiful snowflakes! Although, it just looks rainy and wet in this picture...

Gabe is so lucky and so loved! Here is a picture of Gabe with ALL of his Great Grandparents and Grandparents.

Instead of the traditional Godparents, Gabe has TWO Godmothers...
