Salisbury University 5 Year Reunion

Well it's hard to believe it's been 5 years since I graduated college! It feels like just yesterday. We decided to meet up with a bunch of friends for the weekend. We had a great time reminiscing and hanging out on campus. Gabe got to play with some new friends and he even hung out with his Gramps while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a night out...

Back to the grind....

Well the time finally came...I had to go back to work! Between bedrest and maternity leave... I was out of work for 5 months! I was so afraid that I would forget how to be a NICU nurse! (Luckily it really is like riding a bike) Eventhough I cried for my entire 45 minute commute, it was really nice to be back. It was nice to see familiar faces and turn my "adult brain" on.... and I only called home twice!

While I was working, Andy was "working" from home. I knew Gabe was in good hands... I also knew that Andy wasn't really going to get any work done! The boys had a busy day... they went to the gym, took a long walk, went to the bank, and even went to the grocery store. They even got a surprise visitor... Grams came to play from Salisbury!

After a busy day, I of course came home to find my boy sleeping soundly. After watching him sleep for an hour, I just had to wake him! He gave me a look like, "hey I kinda remember you." He snuggled with me and nursed... it was like I never left :)

Sunday at Grammy's....

Every Sunday we visit with family and enjoy dinner together. Gabe just loves being passed around and having everyone "swooning" over him!






Even the doggies love him!

The latest additions to Grammy's family have arrived. Seven cute and healthy boxer pups! (Thank goodness I only have one to feed!)

A Beautiful Fall Day!

We decided to get outdoors to enjoy a beautiful fall day at Lohr's Orchard.


We went on a hayride.

and pumpkins too!

Of course, Gabe thought this was a real "snooze" fest!

(well there was more sleeping than playing)

But of course, our trip could not be complete without walking Gabe around Salisbury University!

A little get away...

The three of us (poor Zoey had a little vacation of her own... at the kennel) decided to get away and go to Virginia Beach. It was so nice to have a change of scenery and to have Daddy around to play! This was Gabe's first vacation :)

We bought this travel swing so he would sleep at night!

Normally it is a little sad when you have to pack up and go home... but not for us... we decided to extend our vacation a bit and take a detour to Salisbury, Maryland...
